I am originally from northern New Jersey and I am married to my husband of 30 years. We have lived in GA for 18 years and recently moved to the Raleigh area. Together we have three adult children who live in MA, GA and HI. My husband and I are currently empty nesters with our 14-year-old peke-poo Oreo to keep us company.
My first experience which sent me down a path of self-discovery and conscious living was back in 2001 when I became certified in Reiki 1 & 2. Since then I have expanded my experiences with the metaphysical by attending workshops and reading books on a variety of spiritual based topics.
The study of the soul in particular, resonated with me. In 2010 I was introduced to the book Intuitive Living, A Sacred Path by Alan Seale. This book catapulted me into accepting and acknowledging that my life work would involve assisting people in realizing their true potential and living their lives consciously from their hearts. After all, the heart IS the window to the soul. Upon the heels of reading this book, I became certified as an Integrated Energy Therapy practitioner and teacher. IET is a healing modality which works with the healing energy of the angels. In effect, the IET and the information in the book went hand in hand.
Because of the impact the book, Intuitive Living had on me, I have always had the desire to facilitate a book study. My vision is to create an opportunity for a gathering in a sacred space of heart-centered, like-minded individuals who enjoy sitting in circle, and with this book as a catalyst, be open to sharing, giving and receiving wisdom and whatever else might reveal itself in those moments. I am excited and honored to share this space with you.
The following is part of one of my favorite passages from the book:
Taken from Intuitive Living A Sacred Path by Alan Seale
The Language of Love
“Many years ago, Spirit spoke to me of a new language – the language of Love-
and explained that it was actually the original language of all creation,
but seemed to be a new language for our time.
And so I asked
How do I learn the language of Love?
There is nothing to learn. There is only “to be.”
And I said
But “be” what?
Be You. Be You in the largest sense of You.
Be You in your truth, in your power, in your strength.
Be You as you know yourself in God and God in you...”
